Jedenasty album zespołu Hey, który ukazał się na początku 2016. Jak wiadomo ten zespół to jeden z najbardziej znanych na polskiej scenie muzycznej. Ich nieustająca popularność wynika przede wszystkim z jakości tworzonej przez nich muzyki.
The eleventh album of Hey, which was released at the beginning of 2016. As we know, this band is one of the most famous on the Polish music stage. Their unceasing popularity primarily results from the quality of music created by them.
Na tym albumie, znowu mamy romans rocka i alternatywy, moim skromnym zdaniem bardzo udany. Trzeba przyznać, że mimo tego, płyta jest dosyć zachowawcza i utrzymana w bardziej rockowej stylistyce. W sumie, z taką renomą mogą sobie pozwolić na większą dozę szaleństwa, jeśli chodzi o miksowanie stylistyki muzycznej. Z drugiej strony ich korzenie to środowisko rockowe, a więc i fani to słuchacze rocka.
On this album, once again we have the romance of rock and alternative, in my humble opinion, very successful. I must admit that in spite of this, the album is quite conservative and kept closer to rock style. In all, with such a reputation they can afford the higher dose of madness, when it comes to mixing styles of music. On the other hand, their roots are in rock environment, and therefore their fans are rock listeners.
Ogromną zaletą tej płyty są teksty piosenek – trochę niejednoznaczne, niemniej jednak zachwycające. Żadna z piosenek z pewnością nie znalazła się na płycie przypadkiem tworząc spójną całość. Błysk to po prostu dobre wydawnictwo, którego się dobrze słucha. Nie ma tu przekombinowania, czy przerostu formy nad treścią, czego dowodem jest tytułowa piosenka, którą Katarzyna Nosowska w zasadzie nie śpiewa, a recytuje.
The great advantage of this album are lyrics – a little vague, but neverthless delightful. None of the songs certainly appeared on the CD by Chance, because they form a coherent whole. Błysk (Flash) is just good stuff that is good to listen. There is no overdone or the triumph of form over content, as evidenced by the title song that Katarzyna Nosowska not really sings but recites.
Moją ulubioną piosenką z tej płyty został Szum. Już sam początek brzmi ciekawie, a z każdą chwilą jest coraz lepiej. Może to wynika trochę z tego, że jest tu mieszanka gitar i syntezatorów, a to muzyka, po którą lubię sięgać. Jest też dynamika, a i tekst podśpiewywałam słuchając tej płyty.
My favorite song from the album became noise. The very beginning is interesting, and with every moment it’s getting better. Maybe it’s because this is a mix of guitars and synthesizers, and that’s music I like to reach for. It’s also dynamic, and I was singing the text while listening to this album.
